Who we are: Our professional staff has well over a dozen years of event coordination experience and we understand the business of live entertainment from a variety of perspectives – as gigging musicians trying to land shows; as college student programming board members looking for the perfect act for their concert or coffeehouse; as college student activities professionals trying to fill an entertainment schedule; as venue bookers trying to fill seats and entertain an audience; and as agents trying to match the perfect performer to the perfect venue.

About the agency: The Showcase Agency has been dedicated to creating successful events since 2004! Initially conceived as a centralized booking resource for local and regional performers, we contacted venues on behalf of artists and helped them land the gigs that we felt that they deserved. I guess that you could call it, ‘friends helping friends.’ We began working with both entertainers and venues – helping those entertainers find gigs and helping venues find entertainers. Since our modest beginnings in upstate New York, The Showcase Agency has blossomed into a nationwide entertainment booking, event coordination, and talent buying organization featuring local, regional, and national performers in music, comedy, magic, lecture, education, and novelty. Even though we’ve grown and now work with many different performers and venues outside of our local area, we remain committed to our humble roots.
